I want to go somewhere out of the US, during my Spring Break to volunteer. I am not apart of any religion so from what I understand about mission trips, it can’t be a mission trip.
I want to go into medicine (not dental), so I would like my volunteer trip to reflect my interests.
What organizations should I contact if I wanted to do this?
Actually, you could go on a mission trip. Just go to any church one day and find the office to ask about a mission trip.I go to an Episcopalian church and that denomination is welcoming to all people) You might be building a habitat house or feeding the hungry. You don’t have to be religious to go on one, but the needy people and the church would want your help.
P.S. I’m sure you could google it if you prefer not to go on a mission trip

well, i don’t know how long your spring break is…
but every summer i go to Africa and volunteer there with either medical help, helping at orphanages or working with animals for about 4 weeks. Its a really good experience!
