I’m going to be gone in a Guatemala missions trip for a week. I know make-up isn’t the number 1 priority on this kind of a trip, but I don’t want to completely ignore it and go without make-up altogether. What are some of your experiences on mission trips? Did you take a little time with your hair and also make-up? I need tips. Thanks!
keep it totally simple. pull your hair back in a ponytail and just use the basics in makeup i.e. mascara and lipgloss. good luck

Where can i look to find mission trips in other countries for someone under 18… this is why the short term peace corp program did not work for me
You might check out Imb.org, its with the southern baptist convention, they might have something you could do, I would think you have to have an adult with you though on any overseas trip, if you would consider a in the US mission trip I would like for you to consider lake shore mississippi,, they still have alot of people in fema trailors, check out the website below for details
hi im 16 years old and really want to go ona meaningful mission trip to another country. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get information about it. Or if anyone knows a good company to go with! any information about it would be great=]
I have been on several mission trips with AweStar and my sister went with Teen Missions
she loved hers and I loved mine, so I would recommend either
I know Awestar has a Christmas break trip to Mexico for ten days that would be a great introduction to missions
you can look on the site and see updates about the current trips and you can call them and get more info too (1-800-AWE-STAR)
I really recommend praying about where God wants to go, remember, a mission trip is not all about you, it is about God and spreading His love to the people
Typically, banks will offer a trust account. This type of account is opened with account holders as trustee for another entity, such as a non-profit organisation.
This usually beholds the account holders to follow the rules of the organisation when managing the finances.
It is always best to have two people to authorise all withdrawals as well, to ensure that there is a check in place when money is leaving the account.
It would be best to start by talking to your existing bank.
Cheers

I have been wanting to go on mission trips for a while but i dont have the money to Go, I work full time in a ministry and dont get paid. ( I work for room and board)
My question is do you have any advice on getting funding for short term trips?
Your church should be able to help you out, usually churches ask the congregation to help out the missionaries, but you can go person to person in your church and tell them that you are trying to go on a mission trip and can’t afford it maybe they can help you out. I went to Costa rica a few years back on a mission trip It was great…I hope you find the funds to go good luck
I’m not religious, but I love helping people. Is it okay for a semi-athiest to go on mission trips?

Why don’t you join a non-religious charity group like UNICEF, DWB, the Peace Corps? Don’t you feel bad about your group giving services in exchange for conversion? I think it’s extortion.
I’ve always wanted to go on one, but unfortunately my church doesn’t do them. I’ve thought about joining the peace corps, but I think 2 years in a foreign country might be too much for me. So does anyone know any organizations or whatever that I can do a mission trip through? Any suggestions would be great! Thank you! =)
I recommend the Christian Appalachian Project. You can decide how long your "mission" will be. They minister to the poor in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. When you see how poor these folks are, you think you’re in India, not the USA!.
I’m an alumnus of 2 summer sessions there. In fact, I was a member of the original construction crew that built the lodge at their summer recreation camp. A most gratifying experience.
